This 2-part video and CD-ROM series examines the basic elements of the scientific method including defining and researching the problem, forming a hypothesis, using experiments and observations to gather information, analyzing the data, forming a conclusion, and communicating the results. The CD-ROM looks at the way in which scientists work in exploring new areas of knowledge, or new aspects of existing knowledge, and teaches students how to analyze evidence and data.
